A Body-based Expressive Arts Therapy Workshop for Feminine Empowerment & Somatic Renewal.
Our Bodies store negative and positive imprints, how we establish our sense of alignment around past emotional scripts, and how we continue to organize ourselves around old traumas, patterns, beliefs and postures. This is mirrored in our physical structure and the functioning of each body part. We see in our bodies, our posture, in our gestures, how we are stuck, how we are holding, and the quality of our longing and our joy. Each body part possesses life themes that are also related to biological, physiological and functional aspects.
In this Continuum Movement and Life-Art Process Empowering the Pelvis workshop, you will be gently and expertly guided into the wisdom of the body-mind to encounter, confront, explore, and deconstruct, in creative, innovative ways, that which no longer is serving you higher good–your present time goals, needs and desires. You will learn to artfully unravel the stories that lie within that may be holding you back in life, through gradually allowing the body-mind to “speak.” As the old story unfolds, greater possibilities for change, renewal and growth will naturally emerge.
Using the Pelvis as both a literal and a metaphoric key into personal and archetypal life themes, you will identify and explore the life-script associated with this potent body part, and make discoveries and breakthroughs in a constructive, artfully embodied and creative way.
