Continuum is a teaching about life through movement. Like the rising swell and falling rush of ocean waves, we are a continuum of becoming form and its dissolving. By bringing attention to this movement we come to know the undulating language of our own organism, how this ebb and flow manifests in the cycles of our lives, and through our existence as planetary/cosmic beings. In this weekend intensive we will draw on Continuum breaths, vocalized sounds and fluid movements to bring a deepened awareness to the interpenetrating play of micro and macro levels of expression that inform our wholeness.
Practicing Continuum helps us slow down in our otherwise fast-paced life. It gives us time to rest, to recuperate, to engage the imagination and to awaken our creative nature. We feel revitalized, well with ourselves, with others and the world around us.
Linda Rabin brings to Continuum more than 40 years of experience in the field of movement. A choreographer and dance teacher in her earlier professional life, she turned to somatic education in the 1990’s to become a certified practitioner of Body-Mind Centering and an authorized teacher of Continuum Movement. As an international Continuum workshop leader, Linda teaches in her native Montreal, in Canada and Europe, as well as in Asia and Israel. She shares her life’s passion with people from all walks of life: movement both as art and healing, as a way of life knowledge and spiritual practice.
