“The primary characteristic of any fluid system is its ability to keep transforming itself.” “Movement is something we ARE, not something we do.”

“We do not live on the earth, we are the earth.”

If you are longing for renewal and increased vitality, Continuum Movement offers an innovative process of learning to support and restore yourself from within. We learn to recognize the language of how life unfolds within us at every moment of our lives. As we develop an engaged awareness of this sensory language, we become aware of the underlying unity and unfolding mystery of life that informs, guides, and moves as us. The nature of the body becomes a process we learn to trust.
At its essence, Continuum is a study of the body as a fluid system. From the formation of galaxies to the pulsing cells of the human body, all life forms have been shaped by the fundamental movement of spiraling fluid systems. Through the waves of the air, the waters of the planet, the rays of the sun and the unfolding growth of plants– all life is in movement, and all exchange of information within the body and with the larger world happens through this universal language of fluid movement. Continuum offers a context in which we explore the fluid nature of the body, and how all life is connected through a dynamic resonating field of relationship. The body becomes a portal to vast creative possibilities and dimensions of life. Many who participate in Continuum express the delight of finding ways to offer new dimensions of self-care and support to themselves. Exploring a universal language of biologically based movement, this workshop incorporates breath and sounding practices that initiate personal movement explorations. We are liquid crystalline structures designed to receive, carry and transmit vibration. Through the practices of Continuum, we can experience the vast reach of the body and how intimately engaged we are with all of life. We reclaim our birthright of fluid possibility. The workshop will include a ‘dreamtime’ or a period of silence, during which we move and rest in the deep listening and resonance of the group. This movement practice is appropriate and safe for everyone at ALL mobility levels. No previous movement or dance experience is required. www.RobinBeckerMovement.org
